Built in 2016 the Mangrove Tree Resort World Qingdao is currently the largest resort hotel in China, with 399 rooms.

David Taylor designed, manufactured and installed the children’s play space, aimed at all ages from toddlers to teens.  The main play area includes three of the best slides in the play industry: the gentle Astra (rainbow) Slide, the Double Drop, and the exhilarating Drop Slide – all designed and built by DTD.  Alongside the slides are our System 21 modules which contain multiple activities for zipwiring, climbing, crawling, spinning and squeezing. Our modules are large and spacious and allow excellent visibility for operators.  The play zone also includes an under 5’s Role Play Village, older kid’s Ball Cannon Arena, and over 100m Pump Track for scooters and skateboards.

The entire play space takes adults as well as children.
